when one door closes, another opens. its an old saying, that continues to ring true. i've often wondered, after you close a door may you revisit? are you locked out for ever, without a key to place in the lock and turn to soothe your endless curiosity? next time i'm unsure i'll leave the door ajar, and hide the key near in case the wind slams it shut, temporarily locking me out. if a door is closed for me, i will lose curiosity for the other side because i know there is nothing there worth exploring.
